What is pipe relining?

Pipe relining is a modern method of pipe repair. Instead of digging, a flexible resin saturated liner is installed into the existing pipe, and once it cures a completely new and seamless pipe is formed inside the old one. It fully seals the pipe, shuts out root intrusion and restores structural strength.

Is relining a permanent repair?

Yes. Our structural liners form a completely new self supporting pipe from within, rather than merely coating or patching the existing one. They are engineered to last more than 50 years, with the finished pipe often stronger than many new pipes being manufactured today.

How is relining different from a patch repair?

A patch is a short term localised fix. It covers a limited area and leaves the fragile joints and existing weak spots either side of it untouched. A full reline forms a smooth uninterrupted new pipe inside the existing one and removes the main failure points altogether, being joints, cracks, root entry points and leaks. Relining is not a short term solution, it is a complete and lasting structural restoration.

Do you need to dig up the property?

No. We work entirely through the access points already present on site, being gully traps, manholes and inspection openings. Landscaping, driveways, floors and surfaces are never disturbed.
